Forest Lodge and Pyrmont Parishes

Please note that all masses will be held at St James Forest Lodge as St Bede’s Pyrmont remains closed.

As per the government directive, St James Forest Lodge and St Bede’s Pyrmont churches are able to have services and devotions for parishioners, with social distancing requirements and restrictions in place.
Maximum capacities under the 2sqm rule are:
St James Forest Lodge – 130 people
St Bede’s Pyrmont – 60 people*
*St Bede’s Pyrmont remains closed for services due to the low numbers allowed in the church.

We will be holding Mass at the regular times for St James Forest Lodge and St Bede’s Pyrmont, but all 4 weekend Masses will be offered at ST JAMES Forest Lodge, as it is problematic to achieve the required social distancing at St Bede’s Pyrmont.

Welcome to St James Forest Lodge & St Bede Pyrmont Parish

The parishes of St James Forest Lodge and St Bede Pyrmont are welcoming, supportive communities of believers inspired by the life of Jesus. We are called to make Christ present in our parishes, in our local community and in our world. These parishes are part of the Archdiocese of Sydney.

Our mission is to know Christ and to make him known; to be communities committed to discovering Christ present in each person through our ministry to each other, our service to the wider community, the joyful celebration of the Eucharist and other sacraments, and our active concern for social justice.
